""A golden age is a period in a field of endeavor when great tasks were accomplished. The term originated from early Greek and Roman poets, who used to refer to a time when mankind lived in a better time and was pure.""
Now back to your question.....
"ARE YOU SHIxxING ME??"

Yup, without a doubt, there it is.
There is more information, both good and bad, available to the common man today than at any point in the history of this planet.
What we choose to do with it will determine if it is a lasting trend.

at least in the Dark Ages they had an excuse. now we have technology to help make us stupider.
Golden Age of Head Shaking. Also Californians can say "at least we're not like New York" [:D].
All except the Dodger fans.
Beer: Go back 30 or 40 or 50 years in America and without a doubt the beers available at the supermarket stunk. There was a tiny selection of imports. Tiny. Over the past 20 years the amount of good beer widely available to the American consumer has enormously increased.
The sad thing about it though is if it hadn't been for foreign competition the roadsides would still be clutter with American made K cars, Chevy Vega's and Ford Pinto's.
We are in a golden age of information, but hopefully not the golden age of information.

We're in the golden age of automobiles if nothing else. Who would have ever imagined just 35 or 40 years ago that a car or truck could run well over 100,000 miles without having to replace spark plugs. Or that a car could be made that has over 600 horse power that'll run 200 mph off the show room floor that can run on regular pump gas that you can drive daily as a grocery getter. In the old days a lot of car engines would need an overhaul in less miles than tires wear out today.

u got that right, used to have to rebuild a motor after 100-120K, or rebuild a 4cyl after 80K, and 6cyl motors were a joke! would have NEVER guessed it would be like this
