Looks like the timing belt broke.
Buddy of mine had a '74 Jensen Healey with a Lotus motor. After the second time it jumped the belt and he fixed it, I inherited it. At the time, the company I worked for had a full machine shop and blast/paint facility. I would bring parts in and work on it after hours for several years, doing a complete rebuild. After I had kids, there was no money or time for that. I ended up parting it out. Sold the motor for more than the cost of a running car. I think I still have the carbs, dash and some other parts...
If so, mostly like the valve stem rusted in half
