The Scuttlebutt is that the NTTA toll roads do not charge if out of of state is driving? Is that correct!

Maybe this will bump you up so someone who knows might see it. I don't know, but I will tell you that the Texas State Troopers have a whole lot of love for out of state speeders.

I was there last week and had a rental car with a toll tag so didn't notice how they process out of state violators. Its possible they do not charge out of staters since they probably have no way to collect toll charges from them.

The amount of effort it would take to track an out of state violator and try to collect a toll is way more that the toll amount itself, so it would be a wasted effort.

In WA state they have electronic readers that somehow read the cars traveling in the toll lane or across toll bridges. I have no idea how it works so I avoid them like the plague.
