Would you trade??

Would you trade a NIB Glock 26 for a NIB Ruger Single Six Colorado Bicentennial Commemorative with 22lr and 22mag cylinders?

I had picked up the 26 for the wife and she don't want it. I don't like the feel of it and would probably never carry it.

value is about the same for both with the Ruger maybe worth just a tad more , so yes, if you're not happy with the Glock then by all means trade

I myself wouldn't trade anything for a Glock. Well you did ask if I myself would trade.

Ruger all day long for me. I like the 26 and have shot one a few times, but would rather have the Ruger if i was not going to carry the glock. If you do not take the ruger, give me his number[;)][:p]

""I don't like the feel of it and would probably never carry it.""

My neighbor has a custom made buggy whip. It cost him over $300.

I will never drive a horse drawn buggy.....it's worthless to me.

    Get the idea????????

Whether I would or not, the question is, do you like the gun in question? Does the seller want a Glock? Job done.

I once saw a guy trade an all matching Inland M1 carbine for a mixed parts Enfield jungle carbine. Granted, the Inland was in rough shape, no magazine. But still, he traded a 600 dollar or so gun for one that was at the time worth about 250.

Both parties were very happy with the trade. Both parties knew the value of both guns.

That's all you can go for.

I had a Glock 27 and I wish I could have traded for a Ruger like that.

From a dealer's standpoint, that is also my thinking. A new Glock can be obtained at a later time; the Ruger, not so easily.

Trade a gun you can use for an investment... I wouldn't if I had cash. There is nothing more that bothers me than a gun that if you shoot it once goes down in value.

All a matter of preference in the end.

We met up and got the trade done. Another one for the grandson.

Edit - I couldn't tell if it was unfired for sure, but the cylinders did not have any indication of turn marks. However, it did not have the wooden grips on it but they are kinda faux pearl type. They look great, but not original to gun. Bottom line is that I am pleased.
