I'm cooking up a big pot for dinner!

4 lb. Boston Butt
6 lb. Sauerkraut
2 large purple onions
Fresh garlic and pepper
Boiled new potatos with butter and parsley

Anybody hungry?

    What about these for appetizers?

    Jalepe?o Poppers.

    These babies are Spicy!

Stuffed with coarse ground black pepper, cream cheese, grated Jack, and chopped pepperoni.

    Topped with bacon.
    Smoked with hickory chips.

    A mouthful of decadence.

Is this a one pot meal? I know the Krauts got this Saurbratten (beef in kraut) so is this your riff on this?

Yep - I am a Believer in Emeril's Truth: "Pork Fat Rules!" and have made a KILLER Recipe utilizing well-browned Brots, chopped into a pot of Dark Beer, Well-Drained SauerKraut and Dijon, then simmered for Four Hours or so...

I like the the potatos cooked separately, but you could cook everything in one pot.

    Crittergitter -

I appreciate your photo, for both the appetizers and the metalwork seen.

You have great taste in eats and metalwork.

Who ever did the table etc. did it all quite well. Very good ideas and designs! [:0] [;)] [^]

    Thanks, Alan.

The table is commercial, the hot popper holder is custom, one of a kind.

Speaking of great taste, had any doves lately? These have great taste. As you can tell, I love smoked meat, good food, and bacon!

    Dove breasts for lunch!

Marinated in orange juice, sea salt, soy sauce, paprika, white pepper, fresh rosemary and sage, lemon zest, and fresh garlic. Brushed lightly with olive oil.

Saddled with fresh sliced jalepe?os and swaddled with bacon. Smoked with seasoned mulberry wood.

Served with fresh cucumbers and tomatoes steeped in virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, a bit of cheese, and a frosty beer!
