Did some trading and wheeling and dealing today and ended up with a NIB Gunsite Scout. Gonna top it with a Burris Scout Scope in Burris Xtreme tactical rings.
She is sweet. Anyone else have one yet?

Want one but doubt i could afford one. Thinking of just getting a enfield No. 4 but 303 isn't that easy to find anymore. I really want to get into the mad minute drills.
What's the barrel length?
Looks sweet!
16.5"
thanks for showing me that rifle!

Might be a little loud, but it sure looks like it's a shooter!
Threaded for a suppressor, so I got that covered.[:)]
I'm in the process of getting a remington 700 done up much like that, except it will have a 18" barrel, take m1a mags and have a stock that folds.
Sounds great.[:)]

Hopefully it will shoot as great as I have it planned in my head. We shall see. the folding stock has me alittle worried, but If it works it will be sooo worth it. It will be replaceing a No 5 enfield if it comes together.
I'd like to hear a range report on your Ruger if you get her up and running.
I agree, it is sort of a modern version of an Enfield carbine.
Probably loud as heck and you do need that flash suppressor because the flash from an 18" .308 is going to be pretty bright.
