Worth hanging on to?

Some time ago I bought an SKS (Norinco) that had what I took to be an aftermarket receiver cover on it on which you could mount a scope. The finish on the receiver cover looks nothing like the bluing on the rest of the rifle.
I bought a plain receiver cover from a Yugo SKS and just got done fitting it to the receiver. The blue matches much better. The sloppy serial number on the Yugo cover obviously does not match my rifle.
Now I notice that the scope-mount receiver cover has the factory mark that matches my rifle (016). Is it worth more with this rifle than alone? i.e. should I sell it or not?
I think I'm thinking too hard about what is ultimately an inexpensive plinker. Still....whaddaya think?
