Does it have any self defense properties?

    Hi all...

I was bored yesterday, so I thought I'd do a little shopping. I needed pint canning jars, and thought I'd try to find some .22lr while I was out. Started at Wal-Mart, no jars, no .22lr. Went to all four gun shops in town, no .22lr. Stopped by the little mom and pop hardware store on the way home for canning jars. On the way to the register, I passed a little glass case with ammo. .22lr! I counted 20 bricks of Federal 525 value packs. I had to ask how much. 24.99, not bad! What is the limit? No limit, more in the back. I bought 3 boxes and left. I just thought it was funny that a little mom and pop store had ammo, and none to be found at any gun shop.

That's because nobody knew about it. A gouger would bag it all and it would be at the next show priced at $90.

    Exactly!

Show I was at yesterday, $90 was about the high end on .22LR bricks. Saw hundreds of bricks on the tables. Didn't see any of it sell.

My suggestion is that the gougers/hoarders buy all the 22 ammo.Let's discontinue this cal, scrap all firearms made for it...Then there will be no demand, the caliber will go the way of the passenger pigeon and future gens will know nothing of it..The hoarders will be left with hoards of useless ammo..GEEEZEE ! people most of you are the PROBLEM..

I just wish someone would manufacture a conversion kit so I could shoot it through my double barreled 45
