Red & Blue states........

I have been searching for a map of the states for the 2000 election so I could show how few states make up a majority of the votes.
Gore received more popular votes than Bush, but Bush won more electorial votes. This has happened at least twice in the past on other elections. I used to believe that the popular vote should decide the president and not electiorial votes, UNTIL I understood that this is not a democracy but is a republic and the founders of this country were far more insightfull than I could have ever been. It is skerry to find out how few states can elect a president, and leave out the majority of the states. Here is a map that shows the states.

I feel the same way you do . But you really want Gore running the country??? I have never seen a President with so much down home honesty. You can see all the power in his face ,but you can see family in there to . . President aside .all in all he is just a great man . (Could you see Gore hunting a wild bore.) [?]
So I'm glad that they do this the way they do..Bush will take Ohio!!!! and Florida!!!!

I know this is repeated often, but, on 9/11 I was glad to have George W. Bush as my president and not Al Gore.

As a veteran, I have problems with kerry, as a conservitive, I have problems with kerry, and as an American, I have problems with kerry.
