I have a neighbor/friend that inherited a 47' commerical fishing vessel. He is wanting to sell it, and it is currently moored in Seattle. It has a few issues, and he is asking a few bucks south of 200K. I can put you in touch for serious inquiries.

What sort of commercial fishing vessel, crabber, longline, troll or dragger? Wood, metal or plastic hull. What kind of issues. He can get it listed on www.dockstreetbrokers.com or someplace like Alaska Boat Brokers. Those would probably be his best options for getting too a larger market.

Crabber, with steel hull, I belive. They found some evidence of water in the gearbox I think.

Call up Discovery and tell them if they fix it you'll go crabbing with all newbie crew for king or opies.

There was a Coast Guard boat in Oregon that was up for sale for a while I liked. That was originally from Monterey (my neck of the woods). But if I'm paying I'm all about the "Nasty" Class boats.
