I was looking out over my bean field and spotted these two hanging out back by my patch of trees at the far corner of our place. These two are all over the place and I see them almost daily. The other night they were bedded down under an apple tree in my yard.

The pic was taken at approx. 700 yards,

Archery season is here already, called in a young buck and doe antelope to 45 yards yesterday while the bruiser buck stayed at 76 yards. All three were curious as to what was making that awfull squeaking noise in the ditch, th young buck came running then stopped to stare at me and was joined by the doe. The big buck just sauntered up but would not come any closer, he knew better. Sure want to stab something with my new bow and shoulda stuck that doe and used my doe tag but I was too busy looking at those huge horns on that big buck.

Sounds like you should get another chance in the near future....I have been watching a couple decent bucks this past few weeks. I am hoping to get a chance at one of them in the upcoming weeks...Season begins this weekend but it is suppose to be 87 so later in the week looks more likely...

Just need a bigger bow and arrow to close the gap. Maybe a solid tungsten shaft for the extra "oommph".
