would buying a .50 cal machine gun in smei auto be just like gettin a rifle? Its still semi auto so..?

    So long as it's semiauto and has a 16"+ barrel, it's legal.

    Make sure to check local laws, though. Some places that lack brains have passed .50 caliber bans.

    For the most part. There are a few states that have funny rules about that stuff. Here is a cool web site that has that kind of stuff alliedarmament.com.

    are you talking about getting a M2 Browning in semi auto only? if so that would be one dang expensive *rifle* but i think that it is just like buying a standard rifle, no class III required.

    Yup. As long as you're not in California. Love to get me a Barrett Model 95 Rifle.
