INDIANAPOLIS - Randy Earnhardt, one of four siblings of seven-time Cup champion Dale Earnhardt Sr., has died. He was 60.
His nephew, Dale Earnhardt Jr., said in September that Randy had recently been diagnosed with cancer.
"Prayers for our family as we have lost our Uncle Randy after a year long battle with cancer. #cancersucks #earnhardtstrong," tweeted Randy's niece, Kelley Earnhardt Miller, who is co-owner of JR Motorsports.

I don't root for jr.
But you are correct. Class.
Uncle Randy worked at D.E.I., and I met him a few times. I will never forget getting a phone call from him at home thanking me on behalf of all the Earnhardts for taking my car to the National Corvette Museum in honor of Dale.
I wish I had taken the time to drive down there to see it.
