Odd Mauser rifle....

from a friend of mine. 1951 Belgian Navy. Man does he ever come up with some (I hate to use the word) rare stuff.

    I'm not a collector, myself, but when I want to go rub on some old guns....I go to Steve's place.

    The store part is great, but his rolling block collection is just nuts!

    I have examined a number of the Dutch and Belgium FN Mausers. Juliana's. Wilhelmina's, and the ABLs.
    Never seen one with a finish other than blue.

    FN di however make some for other counties that had a black semi gloss parkerized and other finishes notable for S. America

    I would not call these rare but they certainly are not common.

    I had & one sold it on GB. His is a very nice example and the gray is correct for the Navy version of this Mauser

    Mine was also matching and the metal was as nice but his stock is cleaner than mine was and he looks to be getting more than I did.
