Hello, my name is Johnny. I am a gunaholic. I have been sober for 3 weeks now. Taking one day at a time but I recently was eyeing a Ruger 1911. I feel like I am slipping back to my old self. I don't know if I can resist that Ruger. Please help me with the temptation. I am so ashamed. [V]

And when I am not Jonesing for a particular gun I am a state licensed contractor, former Marine of 7 years, VN vet, wooden boat builder, knife maker, fisherman and hunter. Farther of 4 and grandfather of 8.[8D]

    Howdy, my name is Kit.

Firearms sales, occasional boat builder and mechanic.

I have raging cases of Garanditis and Mauseritis, two diseases which have afflicted me for years. I honestly hope there is no cure.

I enjoy the occasional beer, and favorite color is Clear.

Hi, I'm Susie and have meandered the planet following my Army Hubbie around the world. We have four wonderful children and two grandchildren. I hunt, fish, read voraciously, have a FFL and (gasp) work for the federal government.

Currently in a war with small invaders. The battle now stands at Susie = 8 and enemy = 0. Body count going up. Thinking about taking POW's if I can devise a method. Have a large holding cell that would be perfect for them.

I currently spend my weekends fixing things.

I'm Art and I have a small storefront gun venue in a small county in central Nevada. I guess that makes me an evil FFL.
I also manufacture and fit eyeglasses as I'm a Nevada State licensed optician.

well, as boring as it is, here goes.

My name is Daniel. Dan for short. folks what have known me since I was a kid, call me Danny.

I manage a liquor store. That's how I make most of my living.

I own my own shop, where I do locksmithng, tool sharpening, minor gun work, woodwork, repairs to pretty much anything, (sometimes it works, sometimes it don't!)I write, not much published, but a little, mostly non-paying, I do a lot of western history research.

I was a working cowboy for years, in my youth, until a wife and a child made working for cowboy wages impossible. I still miss it.

I drink more than is good for me, and I dream more than is good for me.

    That is pretty much me.

My name is Chipper but I wouldnt tell you that here or especially want you calling me that here

I have a love for restoring historic homes (that translates loosly into "old and run down") I have found a niche and buy the smaller ones and lease to young single/newly married people. I have built homes and developed streets/neighborhoods. I also manage some office, commercial, and industrial buildings for some investors.

I specialize in repairing and replecating old trim and mantles and pine flooring. Also pocket doors. I move barns and pour concrete. I do roofing. new tearoff repair. In the winter I move docks and take some time to go hunting.
Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.

    I like this thread.

My name's Randy, I'm a worn out crippled horseshoer but if I had it to do over again I wouldn't change a thing. I got to work on some of the best race and rodeo horses in three states.

the last ten years I aligned myself with one of the best horse veterinarians in Texas, and mostly worked on lameness cases, until I became one.

Now I'm a full time granddad. Best job I ever had.

Man what is this "Kindergarten Cop" [:D]? Well since I'm bored and up.

I am Yosh (yes that's shortened 'cuz all you round eyes can't say the whole thing [:D]). Japanese decent so I look Japanese but I am redneckiest of rednecks. I work 4 days out of the week (most times) because I'll never reach "retirement age". So semi retired is the game plan and now I work at a retirement community out in the woods.

My name is Lois, screen name comes from being a Mom while living in Oklahoma. Born in Kansas, spent most of my life between Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma. Back in Kansas and here to stay.
Retired from a community college where I was an Admin Asst (fancy word for Secretary). Retired because I was tired of being 'Mom' to to many overly educated people that couldn't remember how to run a copy machine from one Friday to the next Monday. Work environment was changing, and not for the best, plus 23 years was enough.
Just got my CCL last Friday so now I'm look for a good home and carry gun! Use to shoot with my husband but he sold most of his guns before his death.
