Anyone have any experience with Brownell Ar 15 magazines? Good ?Bad ? Junk ? Looking to make bulk buy and wondered if they're Reliable?

Those are the ones the PD buys for the issue M16s. They seem to work OK. I use ex-GI mags with new springs and followers.

They work fantastic. They are made FOR Brownells by a contractor. I have 6 of the 20 rd mags and they are flawless.


Magpul P Mags are the best out there right now.

The Brownells mags work great and they are now a US military supplier for them.

Lots of New and Used Mil Spec 30 rd mags all over GB at all types of prices... The H&K is supposed to be the best on the market but they will set you back almost $ 50.00 a mag....

I was considering buying a 100 Brownell mags from a local supply source. figure $12/mag. I just never heard of Ar15 offered by Brownells.

Yeah HK is good, but it was part of making the SA80 reliable more than the AR.

Not to mention like most things HK, it costs about 2-3x what its worth. Only HK could charge a literal crap ton of cash for a stamped metal receiver gun.
