Zimmerman wins his appeal to have a new Judge!! This was a no brainer as far as I am concerned. The previous Judge made it obvious that he was biased.

A Florida appeals court ruled on Wednesday that George Zimmerman, a former neighborhood watch volunteer who fatally shot unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin, should be granted a new judge in his case.

The decision from the three-judge panel came in response to a motion filed by Zimmerman's lawyer asking the court to overturn a ruling by Judge Kenneth Lester refusing to step down from the case.

"We direct the trial judge to enter an order of disqualification," the state's Fifth District Court of Appeal wrote in its opinion.

Unless I've been mislead by the stories that have been in the news about this judge, Zimmerman and his lawyer really blew it this time. This judge supposedly had an enormous amount of respect as being tough and fair.

I think they came out better, but we won't know till the trial is over.

I do hope you are right, but I had a very good feeling about this judge, and Zimmerman did deserve the increase in his bail, because he did not inform him of the large amount of cash he had raised. I would have been ticked, too, for this very reason.

But the lawayer should have know what to inform Zimmerman, he'll he was keeping the books on the funds. Seems the lawyer dropped the ball on his funds.

I see the lawyer in the same light to some extent. That said, this does cast a bad light on Zimmerman and fit in with him being a bit of the Rambo type. Hell, Zimmerman had two hot shot lawyers that came to his aid and was in the limelight like Johnny on the Spot every chance they got slamming the racists out to get him. And what happens, Simmerman blew it, big time!!! I think the distinct possibilitiy exists that Zimmerman's lawyer knew that if he wanted the case, then he'd best please Zimmerman.

Well, he got what he wanted, I hope it turns out the way he expects.

    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain
