I'm having trouble with the auction side so I wondered if any of you would know a ballpark value of these. The ones on the left are K frame grips.
Thanks in advance

I paid $12 for these grips at an indoor flea market in Clanton, AL.

About $30.00 - $35.00'ish each. Maybe a touch more for the smooth J frame.

You positive about the far left being a Kframe? Judging by the top of the grip above the medallion it might be an N frame.

I've seen them sell for $50.00 a pair but that is the high end. I wouldn't take less than $40.00. That's probably why you see so many S&Ws with aftermarket stocks for sale.

Selling them as a lot will make them harder to sell and will sell for less.

Things sure have changed, I can remember anytime I acquired a new SW revolver, the first thing I did was to get rid of the factory grips and install some Pachmayrs, Herretts, or Bear Hugs.

K and L stocks (grips) are the same. I've never done a side by side comparison of square and round butt, but I'm thinking the apparent difference in size is square butt really are slightly larger than round butt and the different shape would make them look even larger.

And all the guys that own those guns now want the factory grips back. I custom mine too, but the factory grips stay in the box.

I'm looking at the top of the two left grips. N, L & K of square butt configuration all have the same lower grip frame size. The difference between K/L & larger N frame is above the medallion. On the frame it's the area between the upper web of your hand and the middle finger when you grip. The diagonal width, for lack of a better term, measured from the uppermost point of the grip across the top of the grip - as in "over the hump" just above the medallion - to where your middle finger would reset on the grip frame, looks longer on the grip on the far left. I may be mistaken due to lighting and that the view of the 2nd grip is obscured in that area.

Remember the $1.00 bin in local gun stores? Loaded with diamond Smiths, Python target grips, Trooper, etc of every configuration? Look at the bright side - I didn't hacksaw off the front corner of my Smith frames to fit Fuzzy Farrant stocks.[;)]

If you want to make a quick buck I'll give you $13.00 for them right now. [:D]
You bought a bargain on those.
