Some companies have adopted a policy that "suggests" using only pull through parking spots(you end up going the wrong way on that side of the parking row). Failing that, it's "suggested" to back in to a parking spot along a divider using the (standard on company vehicles) back up camera so that exiting the spot is safer(?). I don't make a concerted effort to back in but would rather have the "deer buster/winch bumper" facing the passing idiots. I also back in if I can squeeze my rear hatch close to something since it doesn't always lock like it should. I've seen some scruffy dudes walking down a row of vehicles testing the tailgate to see if they can find one not locked.
However you choose to get into a parking space you should only take one. People who take two spaces irritate me. People who take four spaces cause me to consider homicide.

I don't back in to parking spots. I pull ahead of the two spot parking stalls. Too lazy to back in [:D].
Bingo!!
