I disagree with Stewart Varney

Stewart Varney says Obamacare is back door socialism. I say it's front door socialism. How can anyone argue that it's anything other than pure socialism?

    It is blatant socialism pure and simple
    Most people fail to understand it's added bonus. Bonus in the form of government has a sound footing for a takeover of the private insurance sector as well if they so desire.
    In the military we call this a force multiplier.

    The ACA maintains the pretense of private insurance companies, though it mandates virtually every move.

    More of a Nationalized Socialism of the insurance industry.

    Front Door would be a single payer (US Government) plan.

    This plan would probably be back door for the above literal meaning and the obvious figurative meaning.
    Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

    The Affordable Care Act has nothing to do with care and the takeover of the insurance industry is only incidental. Just one more step, although a big one, in our progress toward a totalitarian socialist state.

    I assumed backdoor socialism meant it was a covert move. There is nothing covert about the ACA. It's about as overt as you can get.
