Blanket in your trunk

last night I was thinking back on some of the cars I had as a kid ( all the car post kicked in the memories )
Any way I bought a 1970 Duster 340 4 speed purple with black stripes .those great old mopar colors
a girl had owned it traded it in I bought it a couple days later a whopping 800.00 at the old car dealer ,
it had a blanket in the trunk ? so I tracked down the gal we lived in a small town , ask about the blanket , she smiled said keep it . you will find handy and a nice thing to have trust me ,
well sure enough I got to use the blanket a few times [;)].
A drive out into the country with a new found young lady(s) and a quiet level grassy spot , yep the gal was right that blanket came in handy , spread out on the ground sure made it more inviting [;)][;)][:D][:D][:D]
that was 40 years ago , I still keep a blanket in the car / truck , but sadly not for the same reason [:(]

Yep.I built a small cabin in the woods between my house and the neighbors, after discovering it was a "foster home" for "wayward" girls..[:p][:p]
U NEVER wanna let them in your house so.U build a small wood stove from a 25Gal stainless drum and put it in the cabin..
Beat hell outta a blanket on the ground but,I still toted a blanket in the Jeep..[:D]

The girl that had owned the car was several years older , I had went to school with her younger brother . and at that time I was still on the shy side so that's as far as the story goes with the original owner . I could have made up some wild story but that was it [xx(]
like most if not all of you I went on to make up for that loss ,
also as odd as it sounds I had a passion for cars the girls were more of a distraction for several years , I would be just as happy with a new Holley , Cragars , headers & etc. as a date but when they both came together woooodoggiess what a weekend

I am with you, any chick that drove a Duster 340 4 speed had to have been a fun.
