Small engine guys, Kohler question.

I have an Economy with a 14 hp Kohler Md K321S. It has points and a starter-not the starter generator. I broke a connecting rod or it came loose either way it's not running. I haven't open up the bottom to see how bad it is yet.
My question I have old Allis Chambers with a 16 hp Kohler it also has a starter and points and front and back shafts. Rather than rebuild my 14 on the Economy will the 16 on the Allis work? I only want to do this if it's a direct bolt on. It looks like it will work, but will the shafts be the same sizes? What can I expect if I do this swap?

By that I mean that they all use the same dimensions as far as crank size, crank height, bolt mounting pattern etc etc.
Yes it will work as a direct bolt on replacement.

I found a diagram to what I mean when I say "Line Drawing".
They all share a
Crankhaft Diameter of 1-1/8 inch
Crankhaft Length of 3-3/4 inch
And have a 1/4 inch Keyway - D/T 7/16-20
The 10, 12, 14 and 16 hp K series Kohler engines all have the same line specs.
