When I was looking into these models I found comments from 2010. People were buying them on sale at $699 then. I was tempted to wait a bit longer, see if the auctions ran closer to $700 but with the one I snagged being $750, what the heck why not!?

At the same time the exact same gun is still getting bid over $800, $900 and $1000 and not always breaking the Reserve prices.

Yup, the panic buyers and investors with dollar signs in their eyeballs are gonna' take it right in the wallet on this one!

ARs are returning to normal as are magazines. Ammo is another matter... especially 22 ammo.

My problem is knowing that they found a way to raise the price of .22 so much! I worry that we will not see a brick for $15 ever again. My boys can burn up a 1k rounds in no time flat!

My local Sports Authority had DPMS Ar's for about 770 and Windhams for 9 something Thursday and all ammo except 22lr. A big local outdoor store in town got in a huge pallet of .223 in ammo cans Thursday also and they were all tickeled. Don't know how much was there but was a full size pallet stacked over 4 ft high, but no 22lr. They has a DPMS 308 SS hbar for under 1100.

I saw a Colt go last week for just over $1400.

We're just about back to normal, I think
