Do you spoil your dog

I'm guilty. I take him every place I go, although he understands that he has to wait in the car, and does so patiently. I give him everything that his heart desires, but he won't take it until I say it's o,k. it's his. But he knows that I'm the pack leader, he waits patiently for me to eat before he "asks" to be fed, He waits patiently for me to use the restroom in the morning before he "asks" for me to take him out. He won't go to bed before I do, sits at my feet while I'm on the computer, doing paper work or relaxing.

All in all, I couldn't ask for a better behaved 10 month puppy.... So I guess he's not spoiled, just treated appropriately. He even knows who's going to win the game tomorrow

Both of my dogs are spoiled rotten. If we don't give them their snacks after we eat dinner the bigger one will bellow at us till she gets them.

My dog is trated like a queen that she is. She sleeps in our bed and gets home cooked meals. Of all the dogs I have had, this little schnauzzer is my favorite. I loved my Labs but this dog stole my heart. She follows me every where and is sitting at my feet right now waiting to go to bed.[:D]

Spoiled rotten. My yellow lab / chow is Belle, she's about 10,Shizu (sp) is 11 or 12 named Buffy, and the Chiwawa (sp) is 3 named Jada. All 3 are females. Belle wants to follow me everywhere I go outside and especially if I go to the truck. Buffy sleep on my lap while watching tv and Jada sleep behind my neck when I"m in my chair.

yep because she deserves it for adopting us after some azzhole dumped her in the country dragging a leash...she survived how many day coyotes, bobcats, thirst and getting hung up on something to starve...best little dog ever and she has a guaranteed good life now

our female (GS/Yellow lab mix) was adopted similarly, she had no leash or collar, we know for certain she wandered the desert for at least two months, one day my wife was coming home from a doctors visit she told me she saw the biggest red "Coyote" ever down in the wash, two months later she wandered thru our yard, she looked terrible, i put food out for her and three days later she stole our hearts when she looked up at us with those beautiful Amber eyes. i "Doctored" her wounds, pulled cactus stickers from her legs and muzzle.., she is laying right behind me now.., guarding my back.

    Photo265-1.jpg

    Jake was a lap puppy.

    Photo291.jpg

He continued to be a lap puppy.

    Photo326.jpg

He is still a lap puppy.

Jake sleeps in the bed with us. He knows when it is bed time and he will whine if Dawnie doesn't go to bed on time. He also likes an afternoon nap, and will remind Dawnie when it is time for that. If he misses his nap, he wants to go to bed for the night around 7:30.

I tried to tell Dawnie that she should break him from sleeping in the bed when he was still little, that he would eventually be as big as she is. At 8 months, he weighs 74 pounds, and the vet says he has a long way to go. Maybe one day he will sleep on the floor, but not today.

    Does this mutt look spoiled?

Home made boiled pork with organic pearled barley for breakfast.
For supper, home made brown rice with boiled chicken and chicken liver.
Plus table scraps of sirloin steak, grilled salmon, etc.

No I would never spoil a dog.
