So - If I start my own militia - what firearms would be restricted????

    Weapons ..restricted ? Sorta nullifies the reason for a militia...doesn't it ?

    Actually ..every man should fall out with a good rifle, pistol and accompanying gear.

    Crew weapons ought to be held in reserve in the government Armories ..and looked over by a big old Marine Gunnery Sergeant.
    These weapons should then be checked out and practiced with on the public range just at the edge of town ..ammunition furnished by the government.instead of them destroying billions of dollars worth of ammo every year.

    Are you serious about starting a militia?
    Weapon restrictions are the SAME as any other ordianary citizen.

    it is a consideration with the way our wishy-washy courts and politicians - who are sworn to uphold the constitution - do everything they can to nullify our rights. What do you think - Billy's Militia Men - I'd have to come up with a flag and other stuff. Hell I would do it just to see how many black helecopters start flying around...[8D]

    Well, I will tell you, you won't know them when they join, but alphabet soupers will be among your ranks if you form the group.

    Keep it SMALL, and among only WELL known people to YOU.

    TRAIN, TRAIN, AND TRAIN some more. Learn from army/marine field manuals. DON'T rely on electronics. Learn map reading too.

    Hold on Freemind - - Whoa... Lets say this is a parody on what they do not want. We do not even have to have one field exersize. We can store arms we can practice the use of arms. And - we can have meetings. It is well known that some amoungst us are not who they say and will work the propoganda against us. The pupose being to help the community in crisis or just to help the community. The militias of old trained at home, knew their neighbors and came together when they were needed to ward off invasion. I don't think that the retoric of the some 4000 militias out there really has merit if they are openly pushing for civil disobediance. We are not in crisis - We do not need to make a crisis - let them do that.... Yes we would need some sort of training and organization. I'm 50 and overweight (a little) I ain't gonna play Rambo - but I know how far I can shoot - and I know how to arm myself for defense.. Rambling here - sorry!!

    there was this lady awhile back, in indianapolis. she was on the boob tube and everything yacking about her militia, told how she was armed whereever she went. showed her with her body gaurd militiamen.
    she claimed to sleep with a loaded .38 under her pillow. dont know if her highness still has her militia and i cant remeber what they where called. seems her name was linda something,,, was gonna join outa high school.... changed my mind to out there for me.

    142nd tri-state raiders group seemed to be more appealing.
