Here's the Flip side: Helped my Brother who was Nearly Homeless by taking him in, and allowind him to "Rent" space in the Basement.

He abused My One and Only Child, My Daughter. She went from Happy, Bouncy and Joyous, leaping in my Lap, laughing and singing, etc at age Eight - to a Flat countenance, Leaves the room when anyone onscreen or in person is Kissing anyone, Never Hugged me or her Mother again, Never had close firends, Has never Had a Date, Never gone to a Dance, and more.

Years Later, she is still the same. We live an empty Life. She sometimes calls, seldom visits, and still has never had a date. She is now 26.

That took a lot of balls to put that out there.

I wish there was some way I could help.[:(]

They are here! Funny! "Black Death" might have gotten some Postal Inspector all excited!

I'm gonna split the packets in half, and store (in freezer?) The one half, put the other halves into service.

Which You think best to start first, as I can only have one in service at a time?

Thanks again for the Sourdough Starters!

I was planning to use your technique of "rubbing into" 1/2cup warm water (Distilled) and working it into a Half cup of flour, letting it sit in kitchen (or in temperature controlled bowl at 100?f?), And coming back tomorrow and doing the same 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup Water, stir, and the next day, etc, until it shows activity, then putting in refrigerator.

    Good enough?

room temp will suffice , over 90 is not advised

in about 3-5 days you should see plenty of activity, do the water test and when it passes feed it and put in the fridge, drop a spoonful into a glass of room temp water, if it floats your good to go, if it sinks its a no go

i would keep about 1.5-2 cups, and feed it 1/2 cup water/flour every week, this way you are only feeding a small amount and not starving out a 5 cup batch {you get the idea}, today is tue, i would suggest feeding it daily till sunday, for some reason that makes it easier to remember

Lively strain! The ischia stuff kicked off First day! I only used about one-third of what you sent. I started it one cup/one cup, and kept it at 80?F. Didn't take Three Hours till bubbles. Tomorrow, I'll add 1/4 Cup, 1/4 Cup. Then into the Fridge. No sugar or honey, right?

    Thanks again!
