"I won, America lost"???

Guess three days in Supermax was too much for this 'big Jihadi Warrior"!

Moussaoui Says He Lied About 9/11 Involvement
Asks To Withdraw Guilty Plea

WASHINGTON -- Convicted Sept. 11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui says he lied on the witness stand about being involved in the plot that destroyed the World Trade Center and wants to withdraw his guilty plea because he now believes he can get a fair trial.

In a motion filed Friday but released Monday, Moussaoui said he testified March 27 he was supposed to hijack a fifth plane on Sept. 11, 2001, and fly it into the White House "even though I knew that was a complete fabrication."

A federal court jury spared the 37-year-old Frenchman the death penalty last Wednesday. On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema gave him six life sentences, to run as two consecutive life terms, in the federal supermax prison at Florence, Colo.

At sentencing, she told Moussaoui: "You do not have a right to appeal your convictions, as was explained to you when you plead guilty" in April 2005. "You waived that right."

She said he could appeal his sentence but added, "I believe it would be an act of futility."

Moussaoui's court-appointed lawyers told the court they filed the motion even though a federal rule "prohibits a defendant from withdrawing a guilty plea after imposition of sentence." They did so anyway because of their "problematic relationship with Moussaoui" and the fact that new lawyers have yet to be appointed to replace them.

I'm soooooo proud of the jury for giving him "life".

His dreams of being a martyr are shattered.

That is the funniest stuff that I've read in a very long time!

I think we should start making mousaoui jokes now. He's gone from "I'm Mousaoui the martyr" to just "I'm sowee".

Ok, so he lied, he's not guilty. Then lets overturn his life sentence and convict him of perjury and put him in general population and see if maybe he wants to change his mind again.

It's a good thing the jury didn't impose the death sentence; that might have opened a door for a new trial.

As it is, "Welcome to Supermax, Moussaoui--enjoy your stay." [:D][:D]

I believe that he should be subjected to 24/7 of Britney Spears music, piped into his cell extra-special, just for him.

Oops I Did It Again could be played in a loop. But, to be kind, it should be the extended remix dance version of it.

I think he is trying to play the system ... it isn't going to work. Before he made his guilty plea, he was told there was not appeal ... so NOW he wants to take it back. What a looser ... he really does think we are all a bunch of dummies.

He will say anything ... remember, "I win and the USA looses!"?

Well, maybe he had his fingers crossed and did not mean anything he said! [V]

He is just a little ticked off because he doesn't get to be a martyr ... cry me a river!

Please bring us to the day that we no longer hear from him as promised. [:(!]

Three days in that little cell in Supermax were pretty rough on the boy.
I wonder how the next 40 YEARS will go.

I think he's still gunnin' for that martyr status. Enter a non-guilty plea, get a retrial, convicted AGAIN, this time sentenced to death. But, nope, its rot in a box.

I'm going to have to visit the "CIA maps" section of the university library (yes, as strange as that sounds there is a set of cabinets for CIA maps)

Find a nice deserted island in shark infested waters, strand him there, and see how long he can survive a la Gilligan [;)]
(could also plant a bunch of cameras to keep the peons who watch "reality TV" entertained) [:D]

Never worked at Supermax, but became familiar with the occupancy of another Colorado prison while I was a Deputy. We'd serve papers to the staff and inmates quite often. Sticks in my mind there's quite a group of men there who would gladly take matters into their own hands. You know the kind, full size tattoos of eagles and battleships on their chests, "USA", "These colors don't run", etc. Believe me, for all their faults, and there are several, some of those men truly love the United States. I'm all in favor of the general population option.

...supporting our terrorist brothers. And so posts Abdulaziz, a confessed traitor to the United States. He ought to be sitting next to Moussaoui holding hands, IMO.

Moussaoui, screams "uncle" after three days. . .

Hey, lets all agree to check in on him in thirty years. This could be a terrific way to remember all the martyrs in a positive and affectionate way. We could make it an all day thing. I'll bring the hot dogs. I'm getting excited...can't wait...

    p.s.
someone remeber to bring all 428 verses to * Bah Ya...we'll have a sing-a-long to remember ah,... what's-his-name.
