I'm a little behind the times when it comes to the prices of surplus ammo, especially Russian. Stopped at a local pawn shop earlier today, and they had a sealed 440rd can of 7.62x54 for $80. Is that a decent price nowadays?
An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it.

A very good price. Around here, the 440 cans are going for $99 and the 880 crates are $189. I'd grab it if you need it.

Keep in mind that it's corrosive and clean your rifle accordingly.
Agreed. I've been shooting corrosive ammo for years and never a speck of rust or corrosion. The key to it is Windex. I clean the weapon the same day with Windex and then follow up with a good coat of Remoil and have never had any issues.
