that's because you're probably an older white male who besides being * retentive, probably has some past issues with abuse. [:o)]

Can I ask? How do you keep your wife from beating you? My wife beats me all the time and I do not know what to do, she abuses me as well. Will I make a good Muslim? And how to you keep your wife from making you go out and pick your own switch?
as long as it is a light beating and does not leave marks that show. Make sure your wife knows that beating in the face in not acceptable even on animals, let alone on you. Tell her it should just be a light beating, and should convey to you that she has had enough and can't bear it anymore.
If she follows these simple guidelines the beatings are ok, and you should accept them.
BTW. I swear one of the army chicks reminds me of Carter on Stargate SG-1 [:D]

No I am 36 and white and my parents taught me how to act obviously his and yours didn't.
The only issue I have with abuse is that anybody that beats their wife should be horse whipped in public and then executed like the coward they are.
I know 3 women mr. raghead would like to meet (2 are currently in the Army, 1 in the airforce)...I'll arrange for a proper funeral with pig guts and everything [;)]

I don't know how badass they are, but they are military trained.
I would advise them to just shoot the guy or run him through with a bayonet though [:)]
