If it is so dry, why does it feel like 114?

Forecast for 104- 106 degrees in the Puget Sound area for Wed (actually 107 for Olympia for Thursday). That's unusual for around here. Expect a lot of whining. I'm loving the warm summer we're having so far. I don't expect to see too many more, and the winters are long and wet here.

Right now at 4:38 pm it's 80 degrees with 48% humidity. Just comfortable.

During our road trip to San Diego; on the way out I pumped gas in Yuma and it was 116 actual, not with the heat index! I can confirm, at 116 it doesn't make any difference if it is a dry heat!!!!!!!!!

If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!

I would much rather be at 10 degrees and 10%RH than 40 degrees and our typical 60%RH.... Same with dry heat. I've been in PHX at 115 and felt much more comfortable than here in ATL at 95 and 90%RH. This summer has been pretty good so far.

Wow! 24% humidity. I'd take 106? and 24% humidity over the 99? and 97% we had last week. Nice and 67? now.

In fact it does, your shirt doesn't ever get wet, it just gets salty.

Last Saturday's humidity made the normally arid Eastern Colorado Prairie seem like Mississippi.

I'll be happy to get back to "Dry Heat"

It's a dry heat in my oven...and I eat the turkey when he comes out of it.

There is a limit to the dry heat exemption. [;)]
