Here's a law for anyone who thinks taking down Confederate Monuments is free speech.
Act of Congress in 1957. U.S. Public Law 1845-425 Sec. 410. Signed into law May 24,1958.
Simply put....Congress declared Confederate soldiers fighting in the War of Northern Aggression as U.S.Veterans. So when protesters take down confederate monuments or deface confederate headstones or gravesites....they in fact are committing a felony. those who assist should be labeled domestic terrorist....and charged as such.
This law hasn't been changed or repealed to my knowledge.

You need to read the act before posting.
It only defines veterans "as it applies to this act" for addressing pensions.
Funny thing about laws, they only mean what they say.
so you are saying it does not state that they are veterans?
