PC El Dorado?

I have watched El Dorado at least a dozen times on tv. What a great movie, John Wayne, Robert Mitchum, James Caan etc.
I like it so much I watched it twice on "Cowboys at Christmas" two weeks ago.
There is a little scene in this movie where they are going to jump a sentry. James Caan get this big bowl and puts it on his head like the hat of a Chinaman.
Then he gets a blanket and wraps it around his shoulder like the shawl of a Chinaman.
Then he pulls the edges of his eyes back, to make his eyes slanted, and he shuffles up to the sentry and starts saying "Chinese" gibberish like "Bing dao, chang bing bo."
Sounds like something a Chinaman might say.
The sentry is taken off guard by the appearance of this "Chinaman" and they jump him, I think they kill the sentry.
Well, in the current version of El Dorado they show James Caan putting the bowl on his head, then they skip about 60 seconds, and they continue with the good guys standing around the dead sentry. They have edited out all of James Caan imitating a Chinaman.
I guess it has been declared "racism" for a White guy to imitate a Chinaman.

no excuse just saying.
Try watching the politically correct and approved edited version of Blazing Saddles.
That would take, what? 10 minutes?? [:D]

AMC's advertising department could easily turn it into a three hour show. And broadcast it seven times a day for three or four months straight.
Like the 24365 good movies with Clint. And the only two they seem to be allowed to show are Joesy Wales and High Planes Drifter.
