I have an ivory weakness. Mostly on Colts but also on a couple of Smiths. The revolver has been hanging around about 5 years since I bagged it on the auction side for $165. Got the stocks this past week. They fit perfectly (rare on a Colt) and I think they look great. Of course, I would.

Sir, those are not stocks, a stock is on a rifle or shotgun. Your BEAUTIFUL revolver has marvelous Ivory grips.

Folks can always count on me to help!

I know Colt and I believe S&W officially refer to handgun wood as stocks. I call rubber versions (like Pachmayrs) grips.

grips are to stocks, like clips are to magazines, someone may say it wrong, but we know what they mean [8D]
