You can hire a attorney who practices in legal malpractice. Google it for a city near you.

Good luck! Forty years ago my father got messed over by a lawyer over a simple matter of probate court. Hired the guy to settle my grandfather's (his father's) estate. He did such a bad job that my father ended up going to jail about ten years later. Only one night in jail, but it bothered him terribly. So he hired another lawyer to sue this first one. With physical damages to his reputation and business as well as his health, he was looking at about 500k. He won the case, but only with the judge's help. And the finally settlement? He ended up with less than 20k which didn't cover his legal costs! When my wife died seven years ago, I was determined this wouldn't happen to me. It did! I didn't end up in jail, but the lawyer stole me blind and I was so angry that I could have killed him. Tried to find somebody to steal it all back, but after talking to about 20 different jerks and the state's attorney general, I just gave up. Best of luck to you -- Steve
