$310 - no, make that $610

Just got the estimate for the garage door frame to be fixed, another $300. So this little oops cost us $610. And that doesn't even take into account the damage to the car, which we are just going to live with.

What is the best gun that I could have bought for $610?

That is what it is going to cost for the garage door repair. $200 for the new panel and $110 for the installation. 2-3 weeks to get the new panel in.

The Expedition is just going to be buffed out and we'll live with the scratches.

Oh well.

what do you do with them? can you sell them without an ffl?
do you buy the parts and build them into complete lowers? I don't get it

I bought them when the hype was big (beginning of December). I am a bad impulse buyer. [:(] I already sold 3 of them. Probably build 2 for myself and save 5 for a "rainy" 'day.

BTW: Yes, you have to go through an FFL to transfer them! (only part of the gun that does)

Well, on one forum I belong to a guy was selling a 99% 5 screw S&W K-22 Masterpiece (Pre Model 17) made in 1948; and in the original gold box, for $650 OBO. It sold in a day!

Hope this , uh, helps! [}:)]

    Three 10/22s.

Don't feel bad. I've put over a thousand in my garage door this year without even crashing into it.

Motor broke apart a couple months ago-200 some bucks to replace.
spring broke last week- hardware is 40-some years old and obsolete, so he'd have to do about $500 worth of repair/replacement, or just kick it up to 900 and replace the whole door. It was time for a new door, so I'm over a grand.

Yeah, would have been nice to have that money for guns.

How much is your deductible? If you have a good insurance company that won't kill your rates, may save you money to just file a claim.
