WOLVERINES!
I have always liked that movie.
It occurred to me that this might be a good flic to give to your undecided/liberal friends and acquaintences to serve as an object lesson for firearms rights.
What do y'all think ??
D.

Interesting theory * r done.More detail please
I honestly believe that a new Civil War in this country is not very far off and might very well happen durring Obama's watch!
As in North and South or race related
It won't be a north south type of thing this time and the only reason it will look race related is that over 90% of the blacks will be on the side of Obama.
It will be more of the good people standing up to regain the right's that our Fore Fathers gave us standing up for the Constitution as it was written!
We will have another Civil War before the ruskies ever attack us.
I may be stretching it but the "Russians" really represent our own government turning on us. They (writer and director) just could not get away with that kind of scenario at the peak of the Cold War...
its not like the USSR could really sneak a few dozen heavy paratrooper transports past NORAD...
Great action adventure movie. I lived in Colorado for a while and I knew some guys who were just like Patrick Swayze, these were wild * who climbed mountains and who camped out in 30 below zero weather, sleeping in caves they dug in the snow.
These were guys who would have picked up guns and fought Russians.
I walked out of two movies that summer. One was Red Dawn. I kept expecting Bugs Bunny in an Uncle Sam hat to call Duke and Snake Eyes from GI Joe to shoot the Ruskkies and Cubies and then get a Carebear to tag a tank.
I damn near couldn't stomach Top Gun either, but that was only because of all the sweaty guys playing volleyball to make-out music. WTH was up with that, was there a deleted hand-holding scene with Iceman and Mav? Snuck into that one too. Stayed to watch Full Metal Jacket twice though. Remember when you could get way with that?
Loved the movie too. Made you think a little. Poor ole Patric Swayze won't be around much longer. He is about dead with cancer. Shame he was a pretty good actor. I liked Road House. Ok I admitt I even liked Dirty Dancing.
I admit to liking many movies that have little value other than being fun and Road House is one of them. He actually was a good actor but how he got saddled with some of his roles I'll never know....Next of Kin, Steel Dawn....

Remember that they are supposedly make up only 12% of the population......

Goes to show ya that you cannot beleave what the National Enquirer prints.
lOVED THE MOVIE, REAL THRILLER.........Today different story they (Ruskies) are predicting the USA will split into three sections, the south Texas with Mexico, the northeast possibly with Canada, and of course the west coast.
That is interesting. Leaves a lot of ground in between.
Glen Beck was just talking about this last week.
Love Red Dawn, had the VHS, bought the DVD.
