after listening to all the networks and congress folk amping up the rhetoric, I figure about 2 weeks and we'll be sending Marines into Syria and Iraq.

God Forbid! But, given the track record of the US in the past 15 years, you probably are right.

Obama is a pacifist and didn't want to fight ISIS in the first place, but, if the political winds are just right, he will send in 20,000 troops. Which would be yet another US disaster in the mideast.

I am sick and tired of the phrase 'boots on the ground'.

How about sons and daughters on the ground?

How about fathers and mothers on the ground?

How about brothers and sisters on the ground?

Boots are worn by living, breathing Americans.

Some of whom will not be living and breathing if their boots hit the ground.

How many of them should we sacrifice? How many died and were maimed in Afghanistan and Iraq because of 3000 deaths in September of 2001?
Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

This administration needs a diversion to keep the low level voters from seeing how bad O is doing. Keep watching his other hand and the 43 Czars behind closed doors[xx(][:(]

Just one step better than being "in" the ground.

So who sent more folks to war? Bush 2 or obama?

As soon as they took the banks and the oil I knew it was going down. So they're back on track. Syria first then Iran. After that North Korea will start a war with us. And then bad guys in Africa will post some Beheading videos and will have to be dealt with.
