Are all the drivers in Missoula nuts? Didn't know if I should go through green lights the way they all seemed to run red lights. Just got back from there, what a rat race.

I know it is against the rules for a Montana car/pickup driver to allow a truck to pass them.
What blows my mind, regardless of what plate is on the car or pickup, is how close they set up shop behind a semi, and when they do actually pass, how close they seem to have to duck in front of them. People like me are definitely in the minority in giving semis the distance and respect they deserve.
i predict Florence will triple in size within 10 years, as more and more suburban subdivisions sprout up. the only thing stopping it is a lack of area jobs/industry, thus keeping it in the cookie cutter commuter category.
They get even more aggressive the farther south they head down the Bitterroot, too.[B)][}:)]
It is not aggressive driving.
It is just that it is difficult to steer the damn truck when you are putting in a chew and steering with a knee which is also holding your beer from spilling.
We didn't have cup holders back then, and driving was much more difficult.

Sounds like south central PA where the bib overall wearing hillbillies reign supreme.

I'll have you know I can put in a chew and steer without using a knee! Sometimes it just requires a bit of finesse, and I still don't have cup holders.[:D][;)]
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
The guy was pulling out and some guy slaps my car and tells me I'm in the way of a woman trying to get across the pedestrian zone in front of the main door. Really?? I'm stopped, and going to move in 30 seconds.
Oughta be an open season on Californians moving to Montana to "get away from laws".....they always start passing CA laws as soon as they can get any political traction.
