I read an article on Drudge not that long ago saying NY was number one with CA and other NE states losing the most people. VT was the only NE state not losing people. TX and FL are gaining the most people. I would trust Drudge over AOL.

The states losing people had one thing in common: DEMOCRATs and high taxes.

WY is a low population state anyway. Even less densely populated considering square miles

Near as I can tell there's nothing wrong with Wyoming,, main reason NO JOBS !!

Prior to 2014 the population increased. Many oil / gas / coal related jobs were being created.

After the Democratic Administration (Obummer) finished screwing up our medical system, they started on the Environment and related "carbon" based industries. As a result there less jobs and in Wyoming, that means many need to leave.

    Projected population growth in Wyoming.

Congress has assigning a committee to determine the cause,, think they'll find out,, no jobs, no growth.

Democrats are pulling out all stops to help Wyoming and asked the Minority Leader, Chuckie Cheese Schumer to get to the bottom of the problem.

Doubt they could find the problem with both hands in a dark closet.

In sum: the policies of the Obama administration have been detrimental to the economy in WY; more so in that state than in several others.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Population of the entire state of Wyoming is less than that of a major city elsewhere. As a result, a small number of people makes a major percentage change. Quietly tucked away here and there in Wyoming are members of the US Air Force- Missile Command.

In addition to the drop in energy related jobs and mining, scaling back the military will also have an effect. When an Airman is assigned somewhere else, his wife and kid also move.

The great gas boom of a decade ago saw thousands of people flocking to Wyoming to help drill, baby, drill.

Those jobs are gone now. The same people who flocked in are drifting back out.

    Simple.

Coal has also taken a big hit in Wyoming along with gas and oil. It will be years if ever before it gets better. Maybe Trump can get something done with EPA regulations but I don't think so.

Illinois has to be right up there in the number of people leaving. But then that is VERY explainable. But then they won't be able to witness the building of Obama's library[xx(] Where did this exiting president "Library Building" come about[:(!]

P.S. The traffic is REALLY screwed up up in Chicago due to his arrival and having to drive from the airport to downtown Chicago, rather than the planned Helicopter ride due to the high winds[:(]
