aimpoint comp 3?

I have a Aimpoint comp3 on my AR and was thinking of adding the 3X magnifier to it, but at a price of around $500 including mount would it be worth it?

I was thinking about getting one of those cheaper magnifiers... I looked at a real live aimpoint magnifier and it was cool, but was it worth the money? Not to me...

LaRue tactical takes one of those German Panzerfaust bazooka sights and some how wipes away the grid lines inside and puts it on one of their fancy flip mounts for under $200.00. I have one and it works great. The original sight is made by Hensoldt so your getting some good quality German optics along with a quality mount for less than half of what the Aimpoints are going for.

Don't flame me, but I've heard those chinese clones of the magnifiers sold on ebay aren't too shabby.

my cousin has an eotech and eotech magnifier but also has a Mako magnifier and I couldnt tell the difference. I convinced him to sell the eotech and keep the mako.

No, Burris is comming out with a more economic magnifier any time now, I'd advise you to wait and buy one of thoose. It is supposed to be cheaper then eo tech and aimpoint brand magnifiers.

I too am interested in a magnifier. I just picked this up for my AR and ordered a Ace socom stock. the 3x magnifier would finish it off very nicely.

Yeah i belive that is what they are calling it.


putting that aimpoint in a goose neck mount will make mounting/dismounting a magnifier more user friendly.

this is what its going in. the LT 129. I picked that one so I have room to put a magnifier on it.

I found the tripler for around 192.00 If I can find it for around 180-185 I will buy it and post a review. I have heard that Burris is a good name.
