Yesterday, My Friends Gave Me a Free Backup!

Well, it all started as an amusing and humorous joke.

After showing a group of shooting buddies a photo of my TACTICAL RAVER MK I DEATH STALKER project pistol,

RAVEN_WITH_STOCKcopy.jpg

they decided to donate/present me with a small(er) bore representative from the Sterling Arms Company - an increasingly difficult piece to find NIB!

As tears of gratitude and joy flowed freely, I accepted the small, yet deadly STERLING POCKET PISTOL Model 302, presentation gift.

Plans for converting IT into an Assault Pistol, are yet, undecided. It will most likely accompany me to Alaska next Spring to serve as a back up to my Smith .500 - IF things get really down and dirty with a Grizzly, it'll come in handy as an 'eye gun' that may make the difference between a vicious mauling and death, or an opportunity for me to make a hasty escape!

Like wow dud, like you got a new batch, right man. Good smoke from what I can tell man. Don't mess with the Sterling man, you will destroy its collector value.

Dilemma? What dilemma? We are talking NIB here right? Mint-orino nez pas? ANY alteration would be a criminal action on such a firearm. Classic design, peerless workmanship, matchless material quality. Man this one has it all, and you are even considering turning it into a common, dime-a-dozen assualt weapon? You are not human dude! Should be hung by your thumbs. With all due respect, of course.

Jennings' work best when you duct-tape them to the end of a Louisville Slugger. [:D]

I really can't BELIEVE that you guys don't recognize a fine piece of tactical equipment when it's right there in your face!

... not from lack of experience, I hope![}:)]
