Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

Legend has it that quoting a line frome the movie will get you kicked out of the real top gun school - competition...
I hear there is a zero tolerance policy.
What do we hear about the reboot - sequel???

I should warn the reader that the author of that piece is obviously only vaguely aware that the original movie even exists.

That was a great movie. Tom Cruise was well cast. A good actor, not a great actor, but had the perfect look for that movie.
i would say better than "good"
Tom Cruise Net Worth: $470 Million. Tom Cruise, one of the biggest global movie stars for more than three decades, has a net worth of $470 million. His success in the "Mission: Impossible" franchise has reinvigorated his career and put him back near the top of Hollywood's highest-paid actors.Aug 24, 2015
regarding image 1. That's a pretty ballsy maneuver right there.

We were camped at Clark Canyon Reservoir, south of Dillon, MT. Between the campground and shore was a small rock formation, and I decided to climb down that, and drown a few nightcrawlers. I manage to make in down the rocks in one piece, find a nice flat rock to sit on, and commence with the worm drowning.
I see a glint in the distance, that couldn't have been more than 20 feet above the water. It was an F-15, in what had to have been full boogie mode. Flew close enough overhead that I fell back against another rock. Loudest noise I think I've ever heard, and low enough that it kicked up dust in the campground on the way by. It's a fairly big lake, and I still believe it didn't take over 3 seconds for that jet to traverse it. It was bookin'!
I stand up, look behind me, and the pilot tipped the wings a couple times. I can't imagine how hard he must have been laughing, seeing me go *-over-teakettle like that. I swear that jet was as close to me as the two in the first image in the OP.[:I][:D][8D]
The first image reminds me of getting buzzed by a low-flying F-15 years ago.
