Christmas Junk Food Half Price

I am feeling very good about myself today!

I passed all the isles of chocolate covered cherries, Reese's peanut butter cups, Hershey's kisses, chocolate Santa's, along with a plethora of other marked down goodies and just kept on going!

I've lost over 20 lbs. since I gave up the sweet treats back in early September.

Made it through Halloween, Thanksgiving, and now Christmas! [^]

[:D] Looks more like "Twinkies Mummy" to me there forgemonkey! Or better yet....."The Tomb of the Unknown Twinkie"[:D]
Bet you would need a stiff drink to wash it down![:p]

I heard that there was a fruit cake still laying around that was made back in the 19th century. It was sold at auction for some pretty big bucks and may have been consumed by the high bidder!

The story about the food poisoning death never made it to the mainstream media.[:0]

Good for you! I was just telling my wife that the gym is fixing to get real busy due to tall the New Years resolutions. It only lasts a few weeks though.

We make homemade marzipan balls and almond cookies and dip them in ghirardelli 86 dark chocolate. Those are packaged with some of my sweet and spicy jerky for stockings... My youngest nephew (17) finished his and was trying to get into his brothers stash before we were done with stockings... [:)] Luckily I brought extra.

My MIL always gets me the Lindt Chili Dark for a stocking stuffer, but it does not specify cocoa %. It is very tasty and pairs well with a deep red wine.
