Wanted to try a semi-auto because the arthritis in my shoulders makes working the action of my old Mossberg 500 near impossible. Bagged this "Emperor" from an auction for the $180 Buy it Now price. Actually looks pretty good for such a cheap gun. Synthetic stock, 20" barrel, 3" chamber, looking forward to testing it.
Don't know if these are real new in the U.S. or if this one has been sitting in inventory for a while but the serial is 0294.

I've purchased some Turkish weapons, most notably a 1911. Love it...one of my best shooting, and best looking, too.
Yeah, we know.

Still carrying that butt hurt? Sheesh. But I think you're talking about my Israeli 1911. See, I'm fair trade.
I have found and bought several older 1100's for $150. You can put some money into them and really get a nice semi auto defensive shotgun or a good shotgun for 3 gun matches.
I really like the 1100 they are smooth and recoil is really reduced due to the gas system. My only beef with them is they will get warm shoot long strings and a fast rate.
I really don't see much use for a 3" chamber in a Defensive shotgun but YMMV.
I hope it does the trick for you Doc...............

I'm not familiar with any Turkish rifles, but they may be in existence. SAR (Sarsilmaz)is a great Turkish handgun. The Dickinson line of semi auto shotguns (Inertia driven) are top notch as well.
Hope you enjoy the new shotgun.

The Canik TP9S were designed for an Israeli military contract. Someone else won the contract in the end, but I am also very pleased with mine.
