Yes there are actually some people who should not have guns. I have seen many on Youtube doing really stupid and dangerous stunts. Makes me want to betch slap a few and take their guns. These dumbaxxes will be the reason we lose more 2nd Amendment supporters. As for drones, that's totally out of hand too.
Are you saying this guy should not have built his flying gun?
I think is it cool. It took engineering and mechanical skills to build. I saw no unsafe acts (admittedly, the video does not show much of anything) and apparently no one was hurt.
In an age when American ingenuity and manufactring has gone the way of the dodo....I think stifling creativity is a bad thing.
Added: Who knows we may have the next JMB on our hands.

Yes. This guy should NOT have built it. I have had plenty of experience with RC aircraft. The servos are not trustworthy. They twitch and activate without any control input on your part. I lost several aircraft from that. That aircraft could have turned and fired in any direction due to radio interference, stray signals, another operator nearby on the same frequency (lost one plane myself due to that one), or even just wornout servos and radio gear. It is not very hard to attach a gun to an RC model and then rig a servo to the trigger. But, SHOULD you? No. It is foolishly risky.

Thank you for the education.
If it is that unreliable then I'm sure the gene pool will be cleaned.
Do we REALLY need laws against everything?

Modern servo systems are very reliable. Sure, you put a Glock on a drone, and one can always say, 'It just takes once'.
Agree with your last statement. FAA sees the videos, and there first reaction is to comb through their 1000s of pages of regulations to see if they can concoct a way to put the drone flier in violation.

I know very little about the technical side of that stuff.
What I do know is....if the guy is not bothering anyone and only putting himself in danger, he should not be interfered with.

true to a point, but now that the idea is out there it will be abused, can you imagine some crazy flying one over a ball game etc ?
Saw a similar drone built by the TV show "Sons of Guns" a few years back.
Equipped with a camera and a semi auto pistol.
They built it for a local Sherriff's office if I recall correctly.
Nothing new.

I think that show used to be on the Child Molesters Network right????
Lets see, between them, the Duggars and Honey Boo Boo you have the Trifecta going.
