Headless Snake ID .......

Found this critter in the street this morning. About 2' long X 2" diameter. Two passerby's said it looked like a Copperhead.

it's a copperhead but it really wanted to be a bull snake. we should accept it as a bull snake to not hurt its feelings.

i think its a good snake.....DEAD! altho honestly the copperheads i saw in the Kentucky Lake campgrounds had quite darker colors....more suntan i guess

Yes, I'd say it is/was a copperhead especially considering the 2' long and 2" diameter. There's likely more of them around and dangerous to kids and pets.

Copperhead, banded water snake or hognosed snake. The marking look most like a copper head though.
