Does any one know how to get rid of of the annoying, aggravating pop up ads on GB?

    I've never seen any.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

If you are getting random popups, you probably have some sort of virus or malware.

I have tried computer settings and checked the "block pop setting" and still I get mobbed by pop ups on the GB site. At this moment I have a 2"x2" square "Save Some Green with blowout auctions", a bogus auction pop up offering a iPad Mini for $21.38! The pop ups even get in the way when I am trying to list an Item. The pop ups are such a wast of time in that I would NEVER visit that web sight.

Sounds like someone should visit fewer porn sites.

But with perhaps the right amount of experimentation and tweaking you might be able to enhance your World wide web internet experience.

After you get used to the fire breathing metal spiders that steal your secret thoughts, that is of course.

We run ads in two FIXED spots on the home page and two FIXED spots on search and browse. If you are seeing popups, they are not coming from us, you have malware on your machine. We reccomend Malware Bytes....

Also, our ads should never start by themselves or have audio on by default. If you see that make a note of the advertiser and open a support issue.

    yep. Malware Bytes. A lifesaver.

And it isn't the porn downloads. Its the porn downloads from sites with malware.[;)]

    Run it. Love it.

Most likely You have a virus/Trojan from an ad service.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 offers a free 30 day trial. Kaspersky is the only product that I would recommend to anyone. For it works while all the other jack legs are busy with their thumbs in their *.

While an awesome product Kaspersky does not handle most pop up adware/malware. We run Kaspersky at home and in the office and my kids and the occasional soon to be ex GB employeee manage to get some crappy adware on a machine about once a year. Malware Bytes usually can get rid of it, but more than once I have had to wipe the machine and reinstall.
