Warning for gjshaw

Have hearing protection with you at all times thurs fri and sat. My daughter's middle school band/chorus is heading your way tomorrow.... They could not carry a tune in a bucket. Of course all the new braces on the brass and woodwinds players does not help. Mine was proficient on the trumpet until she got braces, but every time they tighten the wires, I could beat 7 random cats with a stick and get better music. (It really drives my dog nuts...)

    An awesome warning...

    I remember when I played in the HS band...
    There were good days... And bad days.
    IIRC... Just seemed the bad ones severally outnumbered the few good ones.

    She torments the dog with the Star Wars Imperial march theme on trumpet. the dog does not bark but has a very vocal responses.... It is amusing for a few minutes, but gets really old really fast. I usually take the dog for a LONG walk as soon as trumpet practice starts.

    Nope, I was not selected as one of the Chaperones. I love Disney, and have not been in a few years. My girls payed in the 3v3 soccer tournament and made it to the nationals down there 3 years in a row. That was fun.
