    No moderator in their right mind would remove an admin-generated sticky post on these boards..and keep their job.

    Either Admin did it, or the Admin/mod did it with approval from Kennesaw.

    My take..and I'm sticking with it!

    There used to be several stickys in the "Want Ad" forum and they suddenly disappeared one day. I was able to determine that they "self destruct" after 30 days with no activity so I "bump" the Forum Rules sticky every month. I forgot one month and, sure enough, it "self poofed"! Now, I've kept up the bumps every month and it hasn't happened since. However, CaptFun's sticky had recent activity so I have no explanation.
