They are killing them, up and down the coast of NJ right now. Friend caught a 37, 42 and a 30 inch striper this morning. So far, he has caught over 30 stripers this week. He has never caught more then 5 in a year. Got the rod rack installed on the expedition and all four rods and tackle box loaded. Taking about twenty pieces of season oak, since we can have bon fires on the beach. Taking some hot dog and hamburgers to cook over the fire. We have a really nice set up for fishing. I made some lantern holders and holders for our backpacks and a plastic sled to haul the wood. Two trips to the spot, but were usually there for ten to twelve hours. Island beach state park is the place. Oakie

I miss the run,and fun now that I am in Florida, it's possibly the only thing that might get me to go back there and visit.
Have a great time!!
Ps.. I also caught the biggest Fluke I ever had off the beach there , great times!
go for the 24" stripers and take plenty of singles with you [:D]
Stripers, not strippers. I had to look that up before I posted[:o)][:D][:D][:D]Last time I got hammered for spelling it wrong[:D][:D][:D][:D]
Good luck, friend.
Strippers are more fun
Either way you're going to smell like fish
Too crowded for me. I hate a crowd tangling lines and lost fish because of it.[:(!]
What strip club do you go to? [;)]

Do you ever fish the Delaware Bay? I used to catch weakies by the ton up there.
We also used to go to Avalon to go clamming.Great memories.
Something wrong here....
(I could have fires on my private beach, but not on any public beach....)
